Has the word association on non-dundalk not run its course? The last time it was done, it was left for 100 pages, now its well past that.
Don't get me wrong, it was a bit of craic, and I participated myself. However, its is becoming a bit of a pain, in that you look at the icons to see if anybody has posted new message and you click on Non-Dundalk Talk to find that its just further posts in the word association.
Just my views.
and please don't just reply with one word. As humour, that would be just to predicable!!

Re: Word Association
I never saw the appeal of it but some people obviously love it! What am I gonna do tell them to stop having fun?!
I will set up a LOI forum in the next day or two...to break it up a bit.

Re: Word Association
Well that's your call, Colin.
At what stage will you call halt or will you let it go on forever?

Re: Word Association
Would there be any chance of marking threads to ignore. Kind of like a friend or foe on users.
Its quite annoying when you check new posts and its only Word association.
PS I dont mean to be ungrateful Colin as you do provide a great service

Great idea.
I have to say that the Word Association is getting really really annoying and is becoming a black mark against the this great forum. Its okay saying that this fcuking childish nonsense is harmless and its only a matter of ignoring it. But its as frustrating as hell when you see an indication that there is a message in Non-Dundalk Talk only to waste your time to find out that its only somebody adding to the mind numbing crap. I'am seriously considering contributing to the thread in a manner that will hopefully put other off visiting it or posting.
The damn thing has over 2,000 replies why not put it in a section of its own that? That way it can be really ignored by people that want nothing to do with it.
