I was very sad to hear this yesterday, Seamie was an absolute gent, he did a great job running the old shop selling old and new programmes and the limited merchandise the club had at that time. RIP

Sympathies & condolences to the Bellew family on Seamie's passing. I have great memories of when I served along with Seamie on the supporters club many years ago. Seamie was a gentle soul, may he rest in peace.

Heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late Conor Morgan. Although most closely associated with Dundalk Gaels, Conor was a gifted footballer who excelled with Quay Celtic throughout the under-age ranks in recent years - he was a tenacious. committed and skillful player

It seems so unfair and tragic that someone is taken at such a young age, and many people in our community are struggling to come to terms with it.

Everyone at Dundalk Football Club sends our deepest sympathies to Conor's family, friends and all at @dundalkgaels.

Sincere condolances to the Byrne family on the death of Mrs Loretto Byrne, a lovely lady and probably the true elder of all Dundalk fans at 98 years. She would listen to Dundalk games on the radio in the conservatory of the pub even if games were on the TV and always enjoyed a chat about the club.

RiP Mrs Byrne.

At 98 she must be one of the last supporters to pre-date the club in the League of Ireland, if not the last.

Incredible to think isnt it, never mind LoI she was there at there very beginnings of the state! I wasnt able to to travel to Alkmaar in 2016 so watched the match in Byrnes with a couple of pals and when Ciaran Kilduff buried that header there wasnt a more jubilant person in the place than Mrs Byrne, she defied the years clocked up in that moment!
