By all accounts Jamie McGrath absolutely tearing it up for St Mirren. Lovely lad and beautiful player techincally, but have to admit I didn't think he'd physically manage the step up.

I see Paddy Barrett has joined a club in Cambodia, bit of an unusual one

That's different, isn't it? When he was with us I thought he started badly but gradually improved. He was at a disadvantage in that he had to compete with Brian Gartland at his prime. I was sorry to see him go and I wish him well.

Jordan Flores came on as a 77min sub for Hull City last night in a 3-0 win over Accrington Stanley. He played on the left side of midfield and looked useful as the Tigers went back top of League 1 on goal difference.

Former dundalk player and manager Jim Gannon has left Stockport County for I think the 3rd time now by mutual consent.

Richie Towell comes off the bench to help Salford to a 2-2 draw at home to Harrogate in league 2. His shot was parried by the keeper and they scored from it.

Anyone know the craic with Jordan Flores? Hasn't featured for Hull in a while, is he injured?

Re: Ex DLK players in UK & elsewhere
Was speaking to Grant McCann in our local ASDA 2 weeks ago.(He rents a place in our village). I asked him about Flores. They like him but he said he was well off what is required at present so is allowing him time to settle and get match fit for the run in plus they are on a decent run of form at present so the team picks itself. He also joined nursing a couple of knocks which they knew about when signing him so he has not been ruled out from getting game time when ready. McCann seems decent and straight forward. Told him I was from Dundalk so was interested in how he was doing.

I honestly think he would have benefited massively with another season in LOI even if it wasn't with us. Only started to find his feet towards the end of his time with us

Two goals for Jamie McGrath in the Scottish cup , first one well worth watching and second a pen , Jim Goodwin backing him for an international call up.

Its ridiculous that he hasn't even been called up to the squad. The most in form Irish player at the minute. Not sure how Kenny hasn't considered him.Breffni white wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 10:05 pm Two goals for Jamie McGrath in the Scottish cup , first one well worth watching and second a pen , Jim Goodwin backing him for an international call up.
