So no answer then. Just distraction and a strange use of question marks.
What should I answer, we all know the club have debts with the owners, very different to burdening the club with debts with the tax man, council and so on? All the owners are doing, is ensuring that should the club ever turn a profit that they have reason to take part of it in return for financing the early stages (return on their investment), normal practice if you are not in a socialist state. How much would the club have paid banks on interest for bridging loans to cover the costs?? Would you accept the club paying interest or would you be screaming they are wasting money??
The other option is, the club live within their means ..... what they earn in the LOI and from merchandise, they spend. Where do you think Dundalk FC would today be if that were the case???
As for your statement regarding distraction, the last man who made a statement like that to me was a Sinn Fein TD, he did not want to answer my question to why he never supported Dundalk FC when it came to acknowledging success or to supporting infrastructure projects. I stated facts. Up to Paul and Andy, no owner has ever left Dundalk in a healthy state, even Gerry Matthews who is loved by a section of our support, left the club with huge debts with the council (€300K +). Can you name one owner (group of owners) over the years who has invested more money than Peak6 in the club???
