Ex Dundalk player Chris Shields played his first competitive european match for his new employers last night. They were bet 3-1 away from home.

Andrew Quinn scores a 95th minute equaliser for Bray against Cork tonight. Rumour has it he's still a Bray player despite his loan being up a week ago but the club never officially announced it so it's just a rumour and no one really knows if he's still playing for Bray or not.

Quinn’s loan was until July. No specific date mentioned in the original announcement. There are still a few weeks left in the month, unless it was extended but not announced.

Loan deals don't have random end dates because the player can be recalled any time anyway by the parent club but is only eligible to play when the transfer window opens again. The rule is minimum of one transfer window to the next, so they’re always to July 1st or end of season. Chances are we agreed to extend the loan for Quinn to the end of the season weeks ago. I’m not sure what happens if we recall him before this window ends whether he’s eligible to still play for us or if the next window rule kicks in as soon as you do the deal. When Athlone released Dogan was the endow already closed?

Think they actually got a bye and are into round 3.
