I don't know why they were against Fundraising , surely anything extra is a positive

A golf day could raise funds for a Temporary stand

Are they? Did it though?

Seems to be a real negativity building against the current owners which I think is a shame. Can't really see what they've done wrong here. If people want to invest they should be listening. I didn't want this deal to happen either and glad it isn't but I very much doubt it had anything to do with what a few people on Orielweb and a handful of pissed stoners at Dalymount thought.

Overall I think the owners impact has been positive, I hope they continue to talk to potential investors but that any potential deal includes a commitment on facilities. We can't do it ourselves and we won't be getting any help locally.
100% agree with this.
If we don’t get some sort of investment , OP won’t change for the foreseeable. The owners can’t put money in they don’t have.
Constructive criticism of the board is to be welcomed but some of the shit posted on here and on SM was way over the top . Bottom line is that if SS or AC decided to sell up tomorrow and walk out , we’d be fcuked.
Totally agree 👍
