Andrew McGovern

I'm sure everyone on here will join me in wishing young Andrew McGovern a full and speedy recovery from his injury last night. In what looked like an absolutely horrific injury, hopefully his youth and ambition will speed his return. Hopefully proper supports both physically and mentally are in place.

We are all behind you Andrew. Haste ye back

Says in the paper today that it is a broken tibia. Similar to O'Donnell and from what didnt look a particularly bad collision either. Youth is on McGovern's side as is determination from Skip. Im sure Stephen has been on the phone today to the young lad. Come back better and stronger Andrew!

Can't believe they showed the replay complete with horribly twisted broken leg on Soccer Republic, completely unnecessary. Hope to see the lad back playing soon.

Thought the same. Highlights were on twitter and assumed it would cut after the clash but no, a backwards foot caused me to wince whilst sitting on the Luas this morning to strange looks to those around me
