Well done. Much cheaper than when I was looking when draw was first made.

Re: Larnaca Away
Its possible that the supporters travelling could easily end up dispersed throughout Cyprus.
The Ryanair flights from Dublin into Paphos are on Fridays and Mondays while the flights from Dublin into Larnaca are on Saturday and Wednesday (theres also flights from Belfast)
Some will stay in Paphos - McGuills Travel have a trip staying in the Avlida Hotel in Paphos, which is near O'Neills Irish Bar & Grill, while others may be closer to the Shamrock Bar on the other side of the resort
It appears that the nearest Irish bar to the stadium in Larnaca is Finnegans
Generally, an Irish bar is the last place I'd look for abroad, but they are probably the most obvious meeting places for Lilywhites.
More again are probably heading for Ayia Napa even further along the coast.
If you are going to Cyprus what part are you staying - what do you know about good places for drinks, eats and craic?

Re: Larnaca Away
The stadium in Larnaca is a good bit away from the beach where I'd imagine most traveling fans will base themselves in Larnaca. Our traveling group stayed by the beach at a pub called "The Meeting Pub" for most of our time there which was perfectly acceptable without being anything special. They were very welcoming to us and it pretty central which was handy. The beach front in Larnaca is pretty small though so any pub along their that wants your business is fine.
On the day of the game we organised taxis and were allowed to drink bottles of beer we had purchased from the meeting pub for an hour before kick off in the area just outside the ground. For some reason our club was worried about security and didn't want us arriving late to the ground but also was ok with us drinking in public. It was quite strange.
It was incredibly hot in Larnaca when we were there (I think it was the 20th of July), and it was almost unbearable for me once we got away from the beach front without the wind.
For those traveling enjoy your trip. It was an odd experience but a welcome one mixing a football trip and a beach/resort type holiday into one. Especially as I would never normally do a beach holiday

Re: Larnaca Away
It's due to be 34 degrees in the afternoon in Larnaca. If we were to overcome that alone I'll be astounded. That's why I'm even more amazed that at least Benson and Hoban weren't rested last night, they look jaded already. When I look at Shields and think about Cyprus I get flashbacks to Steve Staunton in USA 94 too. Fella might melt over there!

Re: Larnaca Away
They are two hours ahead over there. Kick off is at 5? So it'll be 7 which it will still be warm as f**k. It's going to be very very difficult.
