New cross border competition

Any thoughts on this? Extra games and would be of benefit if playing in groups stages and needing a couple of games between season end and the last couple of group games. Other than that is there much point in continually trying these All Ireland competitions?

If we make EL Group Stages (let's not be greedy) games start 19th September and are every 2 weeks. A couple of midweek games in between during November/December would do nicely.

On a not unconnected note, I see EL Group Match day 4 is 7th November, 4 days AFTER the cup final. Here's hoping.

Ye can never be too greedy lol and we can certainly dream! Domestic treble and group stages with pushing for a last 32 slot after an All Ireland trophy sure no problem to us!!
