FAI Cup 2019

Post by oldfogey » Wed Jul 03, 2019 3:12 pm

Anyone have any news on the draw for the 1st Round? Last year it was held on the first Wednesday in July and I would have expected that the sponsors would want a bit of exposure before the European games start.

The following is the complete list of the 32 clubs in the bowl.

Avondale Utd
Athlone Town
Bohemians
Bray Wanderers
Cabinteely
Cobh Ramblers
Cobh Wanderers
Collinstown
Cork City
Crumlin Utd
Derry City
Drogheda Utd
Dundalk
Finn Harps
Galway Utd
Glebe North
Glengad Utd
Killester Donnycarney
Letterkenny Rovers
Limerick
Longford Town
Lucan Utd
Malahide
Maynooth University Town
St Michael's
St Patricks Athletic
Shelbourne
Shamrock Rovers
Sligo Rovers
UCD
Waterford
Wexford Youths

Many thanks. Is that on Soccer Republic? Last year the launch was in the Aviva, it's a bit low key, if so.

I cant remember who blocked who first. Either way I wouldn't have seen it.

Do the FAI actually block people on Twitter?

I wasn't taking any chances. It was either that or hang a crucifix and garlic on my laptop.

But of a shambles, not surprising.

New sponsor is Extra.ie who have sole rights to broadcast via their website. Obviously got their numbers wrong.

Pathetic from the FAI as usual. Exclusive broadcast rights to a Facebook news channel who couldn't arrange a workable stream. As sponsors go, that's a massive own goal.
