Gonna say Gannon, because when we were teetering on the edge in the spring with all the injuries he was the shining light. And he scored the goal that we all knew had won us the title in Tallaght in June.

Gannon for me. Cleary/Hoare have been immense but not played enough to push Gannon. Rogers right up there too. Duffy/McGrath not quite consistent enough. Shields worth a nomination.

I'm torn between Gannon and Hoare. Ganno has been rightly getting the plaudits all season but i think Hoare has been an absolute rock. We look so much more solid when he plays and pops up with a few decent goals!! Hes a bit of an unsung hero in this team!

Shields for me. Way underrated in my opinion. If and its a big IF, Hoban doesnt get his contract sorted and ends up leaving. Shields has to be Captain IMO.

Leader on the pitch, does all the simple things right and has contributed a couple of goals this season too.

Sean Hoare for me , just shading it , every player in contention. For me the whole squad. So many highlights . So many vital goals , from Georgie Kelly , Daniel Kelly , Mc Elhinney , Hoban , etc . etc. In fact the whole squad + Perth , “ The Gillio” ( brill). & Ruardhi.etc . & Tommy Connolly & Peak 6.😎

Wasn't a lot between Gannon, Hoare and Shields for me with Shields shading it

Hard one to call. Gannon for a period of outstanding performances or Shields for consistent excellence. Have to think about this one.

All these posts showing that this year was about the collective more than the star individual. And that’s a great thing for the club.

When did we last have an awards night or any other end-of-season function?

Gannon.
He’s never out of position and never makes a mistake. I think he’s the best player in the league but because he’s a full back he’ll be overlooked . However look at how important fullbacks are for the likes of Guardiola and Klopp and the amount of money they go for now. Remember it was his cross that won the cup for us last season

100% agree with this, best player in the league. Key part of the best defence and adds so much to our attack.
