Aviva Nov. 3rd. FAI Cup Final.

Here we go again. Our second home. None of the Rovers have played there. They will freeze on the day. Cmon the town.

Jack Byrne and Joey O' Brien's caps for Ireland also spring to mind. We'll have to perform on the day.

We're better, but we were better than Cork in 2016 and 2017 and we couldn't do it. We have certain issues - Hoban being the main one and the struggle to keep McEleney, Murray and Benson match fit. But they have issues at the back that we should be able to exploit.

Rovers played there in the 2010 final and rather amusingly lost 2-0 on pens!

Should be a great day out. After a bit of a laboured effort in the semi I'd like to think we have a big performance in us

Do Rovers have a large fanbase that will come out for a final? Provincial teams get people to cup finals that would rarely go to league game. I'm not sure that same applies to Dublin clubs.

No they will bring a very big crowd. They have a significant latent support in Dublin

36,000 when they played Sligo so could well be similar, although the Aviva was only just open so probably plenty of Dubs who weren’t Rovers fans.

Interesting the next four weeks. Vinny will probably give most a chance to play their way into the cup final side. Some amount of competition for places.

Murray & Georgie Kelly could well play there way in to first eleven , for final. Next 4 games will be interesting. It’s certainly not a situation , where League is won & take your foot of the gas. Not to mention Gartland & Boyle.

I'm bracing myself for the annual carnage around ticket distribution where it requires a stroke of luck or just simply a stroke to get decent tickets for a magnificent 50,000 seater stadium that will only be at about 60% capcaity

Dundalk had to send tickets back twice last year due to misprinting! Don’t understand why they don’t fill from the bottom, it would massively enhance atmosphere. Yes some like to sit up in the Gods but for the greater good, let’s fill the bottom two tiers it would be brilliant
