I'm curious about an aspect of wages and salaries on page 15 of the accounts.
Employees in Administration are 4, same as 2017, yet remuneration including bonuses for 2018 is 197,302 as against 97,002 for 2017.
Why such a sharp increase, I wonder? Probably none of my business, but I spent years answering such questions so I have a particular interest in it.

I assume bonuses for winning the league would have played a big difference in 2018 vs. 2017.

We also got through 1 round in 2018 in Europe and didn't get through a round in 2017.

Would it be the arrival of Mel Brannigan (and yer man off Sky Sports)? Brannigan, certainly, wasn't working for peanuts nor Devlin in 2019

The staff numbers might the same, but not the roles - or the individuals.

I think that's what Wexford White is curious to know more about!

While you MIGHT find out who is an employee of a privately owned company, you should never find out their salary - and that's the way it should be.

If I had my way, discussing your own - or anyone else's - salary with a fellow employee would be a sackable offence.
