Gavin McLaughlin's Dundalk team of the decade

My DFC Team of the Decade. Just one position I can't fully decide on. I'd be happy with either as my number 9!!

Rogers
Gannon
Gartland
Boyle
Massey
Shields
O'Donnell
Duffy
Towell
Horgan
Hoban/McMillan

Subs: McEleney, Finn, Hoare, Quigley, Kuduzovic, Cherrie, Hoban/McMillan

Can’t disagree much with either team, RTE guy admits it’s close between Massey and Bermingham.

To be pedantic Horgan and Duffy played the same position, but I’d still pick the same 11

I think even though he only played two seasons, Finn would still get in my team, won a league and a double, and was part of the 2016 group stage team.

I would go for below, very hard leaving Hoban out for McMillan but again its the playing at the highest level the club ever played at, and his euro goals that swings it for me for McMillan.

Rogers

Gannon
Gartland
Boyle
Massey

Shields
O'Donnell
Finn
Towell

Horgan

McMillan

Those 3 in bold played for only one season together (2015) and as a trio, it was the best I have ever seen at the club. Special mention for Shields who has since gone on to the do the job of 3 players in certain games !!
