Dundalk V Shamrock Rovers | Sun 9 Feb | 3pm | Oriel Park | Presidents Cup

Any time is a good time to beat Rovers. This Sunday would be especially good to soft their cough.

I suspect VP has a lot of choices to make on his starting line up, but it would not surprise me if he opted to stick with the players in possession of places from last season and omitted the new signings from the starting line up - Greg Sloggett is the possible exception.

Thoughts on preferred starting IX?

Tickets appeared to be on sale at Oriel Park last night - presumably available from the office also today

I admire Ezekiel's bullishness in going with a starting 9 ...... #confident

Thanks - good spot!

Fly-goalies should be de rigueur and 3 at the back is all the rage!

I heard that Rovers had booked Oriel to train in last week, can anyone confirm?

Of all the posts of shite talk ive seen on this, this tops the lot.

What the pillowcase would Rovers be doing coming down to train on Oriel (when they already have a 4G pitch) for a Pre Season Friendly game basically.

Vinny Perth calls it "a competitive friendly", as he talks about getting the right balance ahead of the more important matches looming

Team is like to see start Sunday after pre season

Rogers
Gannon Cleary Boyle Leahy
Shields Flores
Colovic Cammy Duffy
Hoban

right wing has been a problem recently McGrath , mountney and Kelly haven’t been good enough there.. maybe I’d mount got back to 2016 form, Kelly has his moments but not consistent and McGrath gone obviously

I doubt Colovic will be available in the short term

In the club statement it said that "The move is subject to international clearance and receipt of all work permits and visa requirements.
"

Media reports suggests that this could take a while
Colovic may not be eligible to start the season in time due to the processing of his registration, but he does meet work permit requirements having played enough games in his nation's top flight in the preceding year.
