This entertaining character surely deserves his own thread

I can't help but get the feeling that wild Bill will create loads of waves in the months ahead

This sounds very interesting
James Rogers
@jamesdundalk
In this week's Argus I caught up with Dundalk FC chairman Bill Hulsizer to discuss the club's accounts and how they plan to head towards profitability. He also spoke of continued investment with more detail revealed on new stands at Oriel as he aims for a capacity of at least 8k

Wouldnt be getting too excited, he may be talking about it but the same James Rogers has already printed below....http://jamesrogers.ie/club-owners-had-d ... -lockdown/
Dundalk FC owners PEAK6 had drawn up plans to upgrade Oriel Park prior to the lockdown of the country due to Covid-19.

While the plans did not meet board approval
, chairman Bill Hulsizer revealed that work has been ongoing behind the scenes looking at options to improve the heavily criticised Carrick Road venue.

I'm not making any assumption or getting too excited, especially as we have heard positive noises on ground developments previously from Mal Brannigan, Mark Devlin, and Mike Treacy only to have raised expectations brought down to earth

In the article you quoted Bill Hulsizer is quoted talking about upgrades and improvements but only specifically references the YDC as opposed to spectator facilities.

James Rogers tweet is much more specific talking about "new stands at Oriel" with the potential "for a capacity of at least 8k"

That is interesting

Bill not mincing his words in an interview with Neil O'Riordan
Hulsizer said that PEAK6’s intentions have now shifted from when it bought the Lilywhites in 2017.

He said: “Our mission when we came in was to improve the League of Ireland. I can’t see that happening now. I don’t think the League of Ireland is ready to be improved. It needs it but there’s not enough money.

“We’re going to focus on making Dundalk the best example of what football should be that we can.

“I’m not going to worry about the other teams in Ireland.
