Bottom line is that whoever comes in as manager, will be given a budget to go and sign players. No manager worth their salt will accept having to work with a squad they inherited and for the most part don't want. Their reputation is on the line also. The only player signed for next season apparently is Andy Boyle, so there is effectively a blank canvas for the new manager next season, but a new manager coming in shortly, will be judged on his results til the end of the season based on the players he didn't sign, and the farcical 3 match pre season he didn't instigate.

Alan Judge released by Ipswich.
Who should pay their wages??? Fans complaining already that money is being wasted, surely they dont want more to be thrown out the door. Just saying like before the lads start protesting against the people paying the bills.
There won't be a load of millionaires lining up to buy Dundalk should the Americans pull the plug. They saw it an opportunity after Dundalk reached the El group stages in 16. A JP McManus, Dennis O Brien type Irish figure would obviously be good but won't happen. Dermot Desmond has a a 25% stake in Shamrock Rovers, but that's' different to full ownership . 50 % of Shamrock Rovers is fan owned. It was them who accepted Desmond on board as a shareholder.

Thats like been in a marriage thats not working out and she doesn't want to leave because you have money😊 bags packed out the gap with mrs peak6, people seem to be afraid that life won't go on without them but it will id rather be broke and start from scratch.

You seem to forget the trojan work the majority of us and everyone else who played their part to keep the club alive in 2012 never mind life going on and starting from scratch.

The club is not sustainable with the wages currently implemented if Peak6 were to shut up shop and leave. The regular fan like you and I are not able to cover the cost.

We would be in a worse position then where we were in 2012.

People should be careful for what they wish for.

Andy Boyle. But have the fans the financial clout to pay the purported €70k a week in wages, if peak6 go right we are out of here in the morning?

A lot of day dreamers in here if they think fans will be able to pick and save the club if Peak6 leave, times and costs have changed from the last recue mission. The club progressed under Andy and Paul to a level where they said they couldnt take it any further (in real terms that meant they couldnt bank roll the next level). If Peak6 walk tomorrow players will walk with them, and not just the lads they have signed, also the Irish lads McMillian, Hoban, Boyle, Kelly....they will all follow the money and rightly so.

Before fans start protesting, they should sit down and think about what they want to achieve, how realisitic is that achievement and what the consequences may be. For all the hate there is for Bill, does anyone know who will follow him??? Sure Peak6 migh pick a right old tit who wouldnt know the difference between a rugby ball and a football, leave him in their office HQ and tell him to continue as was. With Bill we at least have someone who seems to love the island of Ireland and the man seems (from listening to him) to have a passsion for the club. Just because he is gone, wont mean anything will change or improve.
Could you imagine ... Gerry Malone as chairman, promising to build new grounds, walking into banks for them to tell him .. sorry Gerry you will need 2-3 million as a deposit and 200-300k per season to cover the repayments. Sure Gerry would come out, walk to the square and call everyone a Yuppie who refused to give him a €50 note to make his dream come true. At the end of the say he would still be short and would then blame Bill, Peak6, JM and whoever came into his head.
