So who do you want to fill Perths boots ?

Indo says we are looking at Robbie Keane and Keith Long from Bohs:

Same article dismisses Mark Burton.

Any other suggestions?

Long & Croly would be great but I think they have 2 years left on there contracts at Bohs. Also Keith Long works outside of football and the Bohs job seems to suit him as he can do both.

I just fear were someone comes in from outside that doesnt know the league or players..
God knows what surprise Bill is going to spring on us..

Robbie Keane???? Great striker. Legend of Irish soccer. Clueless in coaching terms.

Is the Canadian not coming in from Man City???
If not we may see them looking at someone from the US (Peak6 have very good links to the US Football Federation) or would they try and get a Scandanavian with Euro experience or a lower league English trainer??
Eddie Howe....he is also looking for a new challange (That was a joke for those of you who have no sense of humour)

Personally feel Keith Long would be the Irish option, however I feel we will end up with someone from outside the LOI.

What about Trevor Crolly on his own as no.1? A lot of people say he is the brains at Bohs...

It's always been Robbie Keane's dream to manage Dundalk Football Club! Ever since he was a little boy!

Keith Long would be a decent choice however I doubt he would leave Bohs, where he is allowed to do his job properly.

I'd say it's a cert Peak6 will bring in someone from overseas.

Can you imagine the craic if they got Keane in......apart from our own fans not being happy, surely Robbie would give it.......
"I never liked Rovers, had to pretend as I grew up in Tallaght and JD told me to say it. Deep down I was always a Dundalk fan"..........Rovers would go into melddown

James Rogers tweets suggest that Burton not interested in the job and that he was invited into the club by Vinny to help prepare for Europe.

As supporters, and for me it was never in doubt, we know sweet FA about what goes on in the training ground or in the dressing room.

Keith Long would be my first choice. Paul Cook is available but his profile is pretty good in England.

Wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if the yanks went for a high profile name like Keane. It would be an idiotic appointment, the chap is brain dead.

Thanks be to J , Keane out of the frame , we dogged a bullet there , does not say much for judgement of owners . Why not give Reynolds / Gillio a go , until end of season . See how season pans out . We could do the double & have a run in Europe , cool the jets , no panic.😀⚽️👍

Not a bad idea - but what about Brian Kerr?

He was manager at Rovers and Bray few years back and didn't do much. Think he's better suited as a coach/assistant manager

Was a great manager in 80's 90's but really is out of managing too long now.. What about Fenlon? Everybody hates him when he is managing our opponents but he might steady the ship and let's face it he is a chequebook manager let's see if the owners will spend the cash
