200 fans to be allowed back in from July 5th

Then from 2nd of August 1/4 of capacity, so for ourselves it will be 1,125.

Virgin Media News guy reporting 100 from June as well:
https://twitter.com/gavreilly/status/13 ... 1246446595

So, if this is correct and those numbers are confirmed tonight, that means we'd have no more home games behind closed doors.

Home fixtures whilst restricted to 100/200 supporters currently include five league games and (hopefully) two rounds of Conference League qualifiers (such a shame Oriel isn't 5k capacity, or we'd have 500 in July):

Waterford Fri 11 June
Longford Fri 18 June
Derry City Fri 25 June

UEFA QR1 Thu 8 July OR 15 July
Bohemians Fri 9 July
Finn Harps Fri 16 July
UEFA QR2 Thu 22 OR 29 July

Obviously both July league games will need to be moved, with Europe scheduled the night before, so the number of supporters could potentially increase if they are pushed back into August.

Seven remaining league games (from Pat's on 6 Aug) should see a decent crowd back in Oriel and, with my optimist's hat on, from QR3 onwards (5 & 12 August) we should be able to take 2,000 to Tallaght (assuming UEFA ground regulations are the same for the Conference League). Let's hope we've something to cheer by then.

Anyone know how many Season Ticket Holders we have this year?

Yes but how would the 100 be picked ,or allowed.
There was an allocation of 200 last year after the Covid break, but most of the clubs in the League decided against who should get tickets as would only cause hassle.

If it was 1000 it would be easier to manage.

Season might not be gone yet. Standard has dropped this year. Might be possible to get back in the mix if we get some consistency even now.

€79 is a lot when you are depending on other clubs to provide content. If there was a guarantee that production would be at a level ours was in the preseason versus Drogheda I think that this would be good value.

Unfortunately there is no other option and at €3.60 per game it's more than worth the investment. I thought our pre season games were of exceptional streaming quality and a lot better than even watcholoi provided.

You could look at it from a different perspective.

We have 3 home games left in Round 2 plus 9 across Rounds 3 & 4. That's €6.58 per game, irrespective of what the other clubs might churn out. Considering the Bohs pre season game was well above WATCHLOI standard, that's excellent value for money. You could, of course, go down the PPV route (at least €5 per game) and save yourself €19 but then the revenue for any away game you buy goes to the home club. And you could still get stuck with a dog. At least this way the club gets the whole €79. Even if we get back to Oriel, it still means you can come home and watch the game all over again.
