I think they might have noticed
LOL

But to be fair Richie, what was the players excuse for the 4 previous games?

No excuse. They haven't been performing. Players can't be sacked obviously.. Keegan going yesterday, and Fillipo telling the players today, wasn't a great way to end the rut..

A few good saves from Abibi...will do him the world of good, generally speaking performance was better then most we have seen so far this season, still a few players who do not look fully match fit.

Had we played a full preseason, maybe we could have been at tonights tempo in the first game of the season. And built on that. Crazy.

Could have nicked if at the end , Barrett clears of the line . Now for Derry on Tue. Cmon the Town.

Well at least we saw fight in the team. Much the better team in the 2nd half and Pats were hanging on . 2 cleared off the line.
Not great but a start.

It was a good performance in the second half. They had chances also. Abibi with a few very good saves,

They should have enough to get past Derry. They are a nice footballing team but not much bite, with the likes of Conor McCormack gone.

I'll say one thing for Fillipo, not only is he a terrible manager he is a terribly unlucky one too. Hit the post multiple times, balls cleared off the line, not getting penalties etc.

What's the aim now lads surely the title is gone? Do we try aim for Europe and rebuild again as most of our out of contract? Big big decision needs to be made on the management now. If we get it wrong it's scary to think where we could end up. Such a sorry state of affairs.

Yes, Europe and rebuild. Another duff appointment like Giavagnoli and we are screwed.

Duff is a good shout. :) High profile name that yanks like. Highly regarded coach. Obviously lacking experience though.

JR’s report on the game from a national newspaper’s website. Out of 18 paragraphs on the website, 1 was about the actual game.
I read Niall Newberry and Owen Crowizer and both gave a fairly even balance between reporting on what actually happened on the pitch as well as what’s been happening off it this past week. Shieldsy also referenced all the chatter on social media . John Gill had a lot to say on a couple of podcasts, including the Town End, about certain journalists only talking to disgruntled people instead of searching further and maybe finding that the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
Was it Buckley or Bradley who said we were like Man City?
I think we are more like Arsenal, where the Arsenal Fan TV has had such an bad influence.
