Another game where we are going to hear ....... great saves, woodwork ....... unlucky infront of goal ....... as the saying goes, you make your own luck. Interesting after their goal at least 3 players stood infront of Abibi screaming ...... catch the ball.

Hard not to be angry. Keeper poor again and we have absolutely no luck in front of goal.

Imagine we signed a solid keeper this season, we'd probably be a win off the top of the league as it's been so poor

He should never have been signed. Whoever signed him hasn't a clue about goalkeeping.

He also should not have played tonight. Magilton has to own that.

What more does anyone have to see. He is useless, a complete liability.

Christ almighty is Abibi not being coached how to catch or punch a ball aswell as command his area.. The size of the man he should be driving out winning balls over everyone.
He has played 5 league games and made mistakes in 3 as far as I can remember.
Also why do we only seem to start playing from the 80th minute onwards..
Very frustrating night again.

He should have scored and he hit it at right height for keeper but to be fair it really was an excellent save.

It's actually worse tonight. Fillipo signed him and had faith in him so you can understand why he played him even if none of us would agree but there is no excuses tonight. That is another two points dropped because of poor goalkeeping. On top of the four or five already it's just sickening. We're not fully clicking on front of goal so at least if we were solid in defence a goal or two might win us games.

Look at Rovers they are what we were under Kenny scoring late goals and solid

Magilton has been on the sidelines looking on this season. How in the name of God did he start with Abibi? The buck stops with him on this tonight. Abibi doesn't flap at that ball we win 1-0 and the confidence we gain is insurmountable along with the 2 additional points. On the plus side we move out of the playoff spot for the first time this season.

Shite lads and predictable shite at that. Please do not call Abibi a keeper! Please don't call JM a manager either. Wtf is going on here? We are becoming a nursing home for has beens and never Wassers. This club were far and away the best team in Ireland less than two seasons ago, what in gods name is going on. If you were trying to write a situation comedy, you couldn't make this up.

We completely shit ourselves when we go in front .

We can’t defend corners or free kicks. We have supposedly 2 of the best CBs in the country but the ball is headed around the box instead of being cleared ffs.

We never look like we can score from a set piece either.

I’m the name of God, employ a pro licence manager who has experience coaching a team

You just can't keep making mistakes like we are and expect to win games:

Sligo - terrible marking for the goal
Harps - howler by Abibi and then shocking defending for the second
Rovers - Abibi error again
Bohs - Jurkovskis error and Cleary moment of madness
Pats - terrible marking for the goal
Derry - Abibi error

We've made more mistakes in 6 games than we used to in a season.

We have been unlucky but a bigger problem is we are not playing with any intensity until we are behind or pegged back. Each game has a similar pattern, good start for 5/10 minutes, go flat and then all out for the final 10.

Hard to see where a win is coming from, the Drogs will be well organised and up for it. We'll likely concede and can't score so....

There was a You tube video of Abibis “highlights” doing the rounds after we signed him. I was worried sick after I watched as there was absolutely zero saves of note and plenty of flaps and parries. How on earth have we ended up with a keeper so poor?? He is the worst goalkeeper we have ever had. Also why on earth was a top goalkeeper coach like Steve Williams dispensed with for an unproven GK coach from Rovers B ?? No excuses for Magilton playing him tonight. At least Filipo had skin in the game. Unfortunately ladies and gentlemen we are now getting the rewards for local owners handing over the keys of the mansion to a group of owners who although they have a track record in financials, have not got a scooby doo about football. I’m angry after tonight. We have absolutely screwed ourselves over. We had millions in the bank, healthy crowds a massive local tie from all echelons of the club and we have thrown it all away. Sick

Its not just the keeper folks the players that have signed are not better than the players that left the recruitment has been terrible plenty of quality in this league have been over looked Fitzgerald at Derry the 2/3 players at Waterford ie sam bone that pats snapped up Dan Mandrou was available when at bohs and many more we missed the boat there....

Problem with Dundalk they have a lot bigger budget ,so going after all types of players. The other clubs have limited budget so identify players in the League and go for them. Coughlan went to Pat's,. Jordan Gibson left Pat's for Sligo. Greg Bolger went to Sligo.

Dundalk approach is more gung ho, bringing in Zahibo in the 6th game of the season. Talk of bringing in more in the next few weeks. Then looking to appoint a new manager on top of that.

Agree 100% Unfortunately the 2 boys saw the dollar signs $$$$$$ and their eyes lit up. Took their 30 pieces of silver and sold the club up the river. Thanks for the memories guys.

You can't blame them for what happened after they sold the club. Hindsight is a great thing
