Can't believe 45 mins from kickoff there wasn't a thread started for the first Derby of the season.

The big question is will Zahibo manage to get a good 60 minutes??? Or will the intensity of the occasion be too much for a man who hasnt played much recently.

Certainly looking better. Lets see if they can keep it going second half.

Zahibo has the languid Ya Ya Toure style to his play. He has good feet, seems like he can go up a gear if he wants too. A bit of a rash tackle from him before ht.

Nice shape to the team and they look a lot more organised.

Perhaps due to a week of competent coaching.

What is the matter with Leahy. He has gone backwards and was dreadful when he came on.

Really good first half, not at levels of previous seasons but could see us getting back to our best. Second half I think Drogs raised the intensity but we could have scored another couple. Hopefully that gives the players a bit of confidence as Waterford and Longford in our next couple of games would be two of the easier games we'd have

He hasn’t kicked in since he joined the club. He couldn’t oust Dane completely last season. Was quite laid back when he came on I thought and nearly caused a goal when he tried to sheppard a ball out instead of dealing with it
