A second clean sheet of the season. Hoban and McMillan back in the team add more threat. Least they can go into the break on the back of a win.

If I am negative and the lads keep getting 3 points ...... I will continue being ----ing negative.

Just prove the lads have it in them, was it fitness against Bohs or was it something else.

Great reaction from the lads , that’s Rovers & Pats beaten in the last two games , clean sheet for Abibi .

Agree with that it's a good 6 points , defended well second half with Boyle making some very important blocks and McMillan clearing of the line , attitude looked better which is encouraging.

Get in! Win ugly and managed the game so well in the second half. Really frustrated them. We WERE lucky to be 1 up at half time but we were due it, thought Andy Boyle was immense tonight!

Waterford & Longford after the break . We get 6 points from last 3 matches , Rovers get 1.

That was the Andy Boyle of old tonight..It wasn't a great performance overall, but the 3 points is the main thing tonight.. We go into the break now slightly more upbeat with 2 very winnable games to come..
John Gill was on LMFM tonight & he said he expects Magilton to remain in charge after the break.

They have Longford tomorrow so will likely win that, Not sure why you're mentioning Shamrock Rovers though, Dundalk scraping to get into top 4

Excellent defensive play. My MOTM Andy Boyle. Abibi still scares me.

Val was MoTM for me. Had Pats boys in his pocket all night. I can see why he is keeping some other players out of the side.

Thought Boyle was a wall of steel at the back and almost back to 2016 form, I was worried that Pats would target Val when I saw him named, the young fella was just superb, what a display.

Great win / 3 points.

I'm convinced Abibi never played pro football before as a GK, for the first 2/3 of the game v Pats I`m not even sure he caught a cross?

I'll stand by these two comments, he is arguably the worst player I have ever seen at DFC in the PD, and without doubt the worst also in LOI at PD level as a GK, if anyone disagrees, give me examples of who was worse?

Mike he is the worst of the worst, but surely you can't erase from your memory Jodi Byrne (was a fantastic keeper for rvs just not us) diving over the ball, dropping balls, he had some spectacular horror shows for us and was his name Paul Kavanagh goalkeeper who played for rovers and ourselves. Absolute garbage.
