It's a nice match for Vinny to try and get a bit of momentum going after the result in Tallaght. Not a lot of pressure on the players so can go out and try and get some game time for a new look midfield.

Think honestly alot of people have lost interest in the site due to too many doom and gloom experts who only want to bring up and drive home the negativity. Be nice to concentrate on the football side of things and the players who are here.

LOI is all about attending games and TV coverage is just not the same. People have found other hobbies and interests since the rolling Covid lockdowns started.

By the time all restrictions are lifted and fans are allowed back in, the club will have a job on its hands to convince people that Fridays are Oriel. If the club is not competing at the top end of the table then that will make the clubs job even more difficult.

I would have almost never missed a home game since John Gill took over. Now i do something else with my Fridays (naturally enough), and it remains to be seen if I would be racing back to Oriel given the current ownership situation...If we end up as a fan owned club in Division 1 then I wouldn't have the stomach for that again...not quite the die-hard I thought I was...and I assume there are many more like me.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head there.

I've done the same, other stuff to be at on a Friday instead of watching a usually poor quality stream, and that's before you take into account the generally shite performances. No interest of watching if I'm not there or even if I was there as part of a 100 or 200 strong crowd. All of nothing for me.

Or maybe like dundalkfc1903 says it's fans losing connection with the club due to covid as well as people are fed up with how the club is being run on and off the pitch. People are negative as there is plenty to be negative about. Aside from sponsorship deals which is one aspect the club seems to be excelling at, when was the last time we were given something to be positive about?

Unfortunately these 5.45pm KO's don't suit me to watch games. However, I think we will win by 5 goals. We know exactly what they are about now after the last outing. They will probably take a bit of time to break down. Their last formation of 3-4-3 is tough for weaker teams, so they may go with 4-4-2 to close the gaps on the wings.

Same starting eleven as last week and we could easily put five past them. They were running on fumes in the last twenty minutes of the game and that's when we will start to open them up at will.

Comfortable win hopefully, slight pity Han, Zahibo and O’Kane haven’t started.

Lets hope we get an early goal or two and Vinny rings the changes early on. Might be a good chance to give bench a run out.

Not sure I'd agree. We've been chopping and changing all season, some enforced some because the manager(s) didn't know the best players to fit in the ever changing formations. It'd be nice to see a settled team

I don’t agree with excessive rotation either but if lads like those are ever going to get a chance then matches like this seem to be the time to do it instead of league games. Zahibo in particular with no Shields or Sloggett you have to wonder what the point is.
