Back to the bread and butter. Anyone know if Hoban/Dummigan/Murray will be eligible to take part? We could do with a bit of rotation ahead of the two legs and FAI Cup.

Still no word on that but apparently they were asymptomatic. If they were isolating they weren't training so hard to see how any of them can start. Sloggett didn't fly so it would worry me that he could be out a while.

No changes to the staring 11.

Just watched a pre-match interview with Greg Sloggett who is not quite ready but hopes to be fit for Europe next week. Makes you wonder about the bench.

Alessio Abibi; Raivis Jurkovskis, Andy Boyle, Sonni Nattestad, Darragh Leahy; Sam Stanton, Patrick McEleney, Will Patching; Daniel Kelly, David McMillan, Michael Duffy.

Subs: Peter Cherrie, Greg Sloggett, Ole Erik Midtskogen, Wilfried Zahibo, Sean Murray, Val Adedokun, Ryan O'Kane, Mark Hanratty, Han Jeongwoo.

Excellent first half, very poor second half. Not sure why Perth didn't empty the bench as we looked very leggy. We could have easily dropped points there

Yeah poor second half but I'll take heart in the fact that we've managed to see the game out. We wouldn't have done that at the start of the year.

Great first half, unlucky not to go in 2 or 3 up. McMillian really does fit our style of play better than Hoban (not a dig at Pat, however we are not playing to his strenghts). Second half seen a number of players drop off, will give them the benifit of doubt as they have played 3 games in just over a week.
Lets hope we can build on this ... 4th is visible.

Normally a big fan of sticking with a first eleven and he didn't have much in the way of options but that second half would worry you a small bit ahead of Thursday so hopefully there's enough recovery time that everyone's ready.

Congrats to Davy Mac hitting his 90th goal for the club. Hopefully he'll become our 7th centurion before the end of the season.

Was there a print program at the game? There was no e-version. I know Gavin is out sick but it shouldn't be on one person.

Good 3 points, excellent first half, should been 3-0 up, but a wins a win, clean sheet, slowly rising up the table, will take a good few more wins but we are not too far off 4th.

Only concern I have is, our avg position so far this season has been 6th probably, we need to kick on fast and cement ourselves into 5th, then have a right good go at getting 4th and hopefully the final euro spot.

I have a feeling we will finish 5th though, but win the cup, most would take your hand off for that right now. However risky approach, obv much better trying to finish as high up the table as possible.

No print or electronic programme produced for the he Harps game with Gav out and the added work of 4 Euro games.

Not really the right thread but it all ties into this weeks Series of fixtures.

Sligo lose away to Waterford and - more importantly - Bohs had to come from behind to rescue a point at home to Longford.

An optimistic fan would say they are two excellent results for us.

The lads played some good football at times. 3 clean sheets but will you lads please stop praising our clown keeper. He has not done anything the average summer league keeper couldn't do. He is not and never will be a keeper. If you jeep praising this chancer the fellow chancers who run the club will stop looking for a proper keeper! Let's be honest lads if he was any good we would be in the top 3 already. Sorry to knock the lad but he is stealing a living!

Agree with you but I wouldn’t be calling him chancer and stuff. He’s improving and he’s trying his best and he wants to do well. At the same time he’s now getting praised any time he catches the ball, and he had two flaps at it yesterday where he ended up on the floor hoping the ref would blow for a foul that a better team might have punished. If McCarey had done that there’d have been a whip around for a one way ticket out of town. He’s still atrocious at corners which is a basic aspect of goalkeeping
