Poorly Laid out Blog!!

I think that the actual Blog is extremely badly laid out.
The 'whole' General DIscussion is appalingly badly laid out - to the point - that its not worth your while looking at topics.
First there are so many topics - many dating back several years!!
WHo gives a damn what happened back in 2009??
WHen you do go into a topic you are getting the 'original comments' - those opinons being written several years ago - and you have to wade through loads of pages to come up to date.
TO come up to date you have to adjust the format at the bottom of the page to ascending/descending!!
Why can this not be done to come up by default - i.e so that the most recent comments are the first shown??
There are just a ridiclous number of topics on the 'General Discusison' home page, most of which are to confusing to comment on, let alone follow - as the chronology is arse ways!!
Please can the Directors of the Blog look at the site and try and make it more user friendly - where even a general 'open online' stream is ongoing - where anyone can put anything in print - 'live' - that is topical.
So that you don't have to go through reams and reams of rubbish to try and find something interesting and indeed topical !!!
I have spoken to several people who just don't bother going on the blog anymore - as its just so badly laid out. I also have recently rejoined - after being frustrated previously with trying to read topics. Indeed I am once againg thinking on unsubscribing as this blog is just to difficult to navigate.
Please Directors do something to tidy up this blog. Make it more user friendly.

Yep thanks guys - have to agree with most of what you say.
Not the best composed mail ever written.
However - the topics in the blod, are all over the shop.
Theres no continuity of logic.
Why the hell is the most recent email the last one posted?????
THat should be changed by default to the latest post - being top of the page so its read first.
Thats my point!!
Why do you have to read through reams of mails to get to the good stuff??

Also get rid of the 'data' - on the senders in the left column. Its confusing - as you tend to look at that date, rather than the 'time and date' in the posted column, i.e the right hand side of the page!!
Who gives a fiddlers - when someone 'joined' the Blog - thats completely irrelevant and confusing, or at least distracting to the reader.
Thats simply my point.
Not a 'whinge' - merely an opinion.
Anyway - when you bloggers have been going to Oriel and supporting 'de Town' as long as l have, then you will realise I have the Club at heart.
If i wanted to whinge - ask me about some of the football I have witnessed on the pitch in the last few years, and I'll let you know what I think.
Bring back Tom McNulty and Dermot Keely - that'll tighten our centre!!

Are you familiar with internet forums at all??

You maybe a Dundalk fan of 20 year standing but you are not an internet`head of any standing, of that i am sure.

Vsit a few other forums and see how things work out for you there.The beauty of fora is that everyone can post their opinions regardless of wheter you want to hear/read them or not! You realy just cant skip to 'the good stuff' as you call it.(if you can invent an app or a programme to make that happen thenn you will be a Billionaire soon)

You can of course decide to not read some posters opines if you dont want too by using the ignore option that is freely available here and on most other MB's,but i would suggest that you give yourself some time trying to navigate round here before you do that and i think you will start to enjoy yourself.

i think chronological order as it currently is on site is the way to go. better to read from the very first opinion posted straight through to the most recent. any other way and you won't have a clue and will still have to go backwards to go forwards.
