So looks like no news on Connolly and Bradley today. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, I can’t make up my mind.
Hopefully we won’t get a line in tomorrow’s team news saying both of them have left the club due to their loans expiring!

Bradley is a season loan, so it wouldn't expire unless Hibernian recall him for pre season.

SOD confirmed on The men who saved football podcast, that Bradley was with us until the end of the season. We sweat of Mark Connolly now. What a statement it would be to sign him on a permanent deal

I’ve been searching through everything I can find re Connolly on Twitter, very little info to be found. One Dundalk fan saying that the situation is ongoing and not resolved but that he will be available for tomorrow night. I can’t see how that’s true though

I don't think he will be available unless we get another loan deal or if we sign him permanentlyMartin Lawlor80 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 9:22 pmI’ve been searching through everything I can find re Connolly on Twitter, very little info to be found. Connolly is contracted with Dundee Utd until July 2023. Dundalk would have to stump up the cash if it's a permanent deal.

He is 30 and has been loaned out for the past season, he's obviously not in their plans. Freeing up a wage might be in their best interest. If we have to pay a small fee it might be worth it if we are back in Europe next season and challenging for titles over the next few seasons.

They'll likely want him off the wage bill however I'd imagine a major issue will be a northern side with deep pockets (like glentoran) offering a transfer fee

Team news on the website’s preview conspicuously missing….🤔Martin Lawlor80 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 6:23 pm So looks like no news on Connolly and Bradley today. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, I can’t make up my mind.

I fear the worst re Connolly.
I also think we might actually struggle to get Europe if we lose him, he’s that important. Just my opinion!

I would take the silence as meaning they are still talking. Connolly doesn't want to go back, and after his great performances, Dundee would be mad not to demand money. I just hope they are being reasonable and haven't priced him out of our range.

They have a new manager in Jack Ross. He might or might not be willing to give him a chance. Glentoran linked with Connolly. They have been throwing alot of money around.Louth4sam wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 9:18 amHe is 30 and has been loaned out for the past season, he's obviously not in their plans. Re: 2022 Rumours | Transfers | Contract Renewals v2
So today is July 1 and we can sign players permanently or on loan. The DFC leaky ship of last year seems to have finally sunk and the 2022 version seems local journalistic bullet proof. Has anybody heard anything about possible new recruits or possible loan extensions ( yes I’m still talking about the main man Mark Connolly!!) ??

Connolly could remain in Ireland
Dundalk have opened talks with Dundee United to try and extend Mark Connolly’s deal.
The defender’s loan is up after tonight’s clash with University College Dublin.
And the European chasing Irish side want to keep Connolly at Oriel Park, at least, until the end of the year and their season.
They are trying to strike a deal with United and are in talks over a loan or a permanent deal.
If a deal can’t be struck then the 30-year-old will return to Tannadice where he still has another year left on his contract.
Connolly moved to Ireland in the January window for family reasons and has helped Dundalk into second place and push for European football.
