A reminder to all that season tickets don't apply. I expect that - as in previous years - we will see a reduction in numbers attending.

I always feel that games like this should be played on a Saturday or Sunday and make it a family friendly day. Middle of summer, weather could be good, we should try and get as many families as possible to the game and make it a big event.

While I understand the sentiment, it's worth remembering that the club would have a set recovery/training/planning routine based on Friday to Friday. This is especially important with Derry due next week +/- Mark Connolly for both teams.

I like loud music but ffs Mickey Duffy it's going beyond a fucking joke at this stage. You have to actually shout to talk to the person beside you.

Duffy doesn't give a f*ck, blaring jazz for no apparent reason

Players showing this team is not the finished product and still has plenty of room for improvement, just is not good enough. Early days but Hauge looks good. Think the loud music might have something to do with the cameras / WatchLOI picking up the a familiar voice from above the Shed.

Brilliant second half, once the first went in we were relentless. Hauge wasn't too bad, bit lost at times and drifting into the center but I'm sure he'll get better the more he plays.

Ryan O'Kane is one the top prospects in the league, such a lovely player and his assist for Sloggett's second was top class.

People tell me his voice can be heard on the Enterprise train going through Dundalk.

The music should be in the background, there but you can still hear the sound of ur own voice if talking to others.. talking not shouting!

We played well second half against limited opposition. Win is a win. Hauge had a solid debut. Would have been an idea to play McCourt ease him into it once the game was won. Bradley also played very well. Thought o'kane did very well when he was introduced. Man of the match was announced very early with 10 mins to go. Poor crowd. Weather wouldn't have helped. Maybe considering the level of opposition and first round of cup, a tenner all areas would have sufficed to help ramp up the attendance?

Thought we were poor enough until we scored the first goa and then we scored for fun. Highlight of the night for me was O'Kane, I have to hold my hands up and admit I may have gotten it wrong about him. If he keeps playing like that we will have a hell of a player on our hands.

We looked a bit shaky at the back. A mistake from Boyle let a player in one on one with Shepard. Bone and Leahy were very sloppy with the ball.

O'Donnell is going to face his first major challenge when he drops an ex teammate or decides not to renew a contract. Hopefully he is as ruthless as Kenny was

The facts of the game are , that Dundalk owned the ball for the full 90 mins . Totally dominant display , it could have been 10. Onwards & upwards . Great stuff & augurs well for the rest of the season . The double is very much on . Cmon the Town . Well done to Stephen O Donnell .👏👏👏
