Absolutely no disrespect to your good self, but this has aged well.
Ha, yes I'm taking credit for jinxing them!

Tie's to be played weekend of the 28th August.

Not a bad draw. Wexford doing ok but Dundalk should be a step above them.

One of Drogs/Rovers gone next round. Derry vs Cork could be a good game. Derry lucky it wasnt down in Turners Cross.

Happy about the draw, I was really hoping to avoid Drogs away, we just can't seem to cope on that tight pitch.

Might actually head down now, be a nice trip.

Old Fogey will happy !!!!!

Delighted with draw as its the only league ground I have never been to. Its listed as 2,500, I would imagine we would take 500 or more depending on allocation. Disappointed it's away though as we will have nothing in Oriel Park until 2nd September (Shels). We may also be free the week before as I would imagine Rovers will want to focus on the playoff round. Their cup tie at Drogheda is almost certain to go to Sunday, or even Monday.

Shelbourne v Bohemians
Treaty Utd v UCD
Waterford v Dundalk
Derry City v Shamrock Rovers

The following weekend is free because of internationals. Conference MD2(Gent away) is Thursday 15th so their game will get pushed to Sunday. Whatever happens, you would expect the winner of the Derry - Rovers game to make the final.

Paul Doyle was on the bench last night although as neither he nor McCourt came on you would have to assume they were there to make up numbers. If we got him and Pat Hoban back I would fancy our chances.

Although there were replays at the QF stage last year the club announced this morning that the tie in Waterford will be played to a finish. All because Rovers are in Europe. Why not just put their board in charge of LOI?

They are (indirectly anyway) and always will be until the hangers on from the previous CEO are removed.

I don't remember us getting too much help when we were in Europe

In order to be accommodated you need to fulfil one of the following 3 criteria:

1. Be from Dublin
2. Be called Shamrock Rovers
3. Not be Dundalk.

We failed on all 3.
