I don't remember us getting too much help when we were in Europe
In fairness the entire league fixture list was rearranged for us in 2016 (inclding a Bohs-Wexford fixture being moved out its allocated slot so Bohs could play Dundalk instead), though of course more could have been done over the years. Considering we should be back in Europe next season are we really gonna start arguing against making concessions for teams in Europe?

Not at all as long as it's consistent and fair for all teams. The fallout of Pats not playing their game against Shels will be telling

Shelbourne's limitations being exposed on a big wide pitch like the Aviva. At least there is a few goals in this Cup final and not the usual extra time outcome

Five ex Dundalk players on Derry team. About the same with Rovers. Oh what might have been!

The Derry born players like Duffy and McEleney were always going to return at some stage. Dundalk while they lost a lot of players ,none were from the area. There was no cult hero like a Raff Cretaro at Sligo.

They need to produce more local players like Ryan O Kane ,but they obviously have to be good enough.
