Know the heat would have been a big factor but that was possibly the worst game I've ever seen. We had a big chance with hoban missing a free header, but we should really have lost 4-1. And they are a bang average side to be fair to them.
Dundalk Fc. First Irish club to win points in group stages of a major European Competition.

Terrible second half. No ideas, and looked dodgy at the back. Lucky to come away with a draw.

Will defo take an away draw in Europe . How difficult it must have been to be in that unbearable heat for days , how could you be right to play football . Cmon the Town , up & at em for return in fortress Oriel . Well done to management & team . Now for a few well deserved pints . 👍👍

If they had a clinical striker they would have won b 3 or 4.
We were woeful, did the opposition keeper even make a save.

Decent result.
Terrible performance, that midfield trio just offers nothing. Nothing defensively and nothing going forward. Sloggetts form has dipped. Maybe he looks at Malley walking around the place doing nothing and says fcuk it, I'll do that too.

A very good and very crucial double save in the first half.

If Julian Del Rio had played I think Magpies would have scored. He missed a couple of years of development due to a horror injury while at Cordoba but is getting back to his best.

The so called easy fixtures for the Irish clubs and all the ties hanging in the balance.

KA won 2-0 tonight .They beat Breioablik recently, which shows they would be no pushover if Dundalk get through next week

Was at the game, the heat was stifling. We basically played the first half in their half and didn't get a break. Keeper made a couple of class saves. Away from home in a European tie, I'm happy with that. We'll do them at Oriel

Lads, it was well over 30c at 6pm local time when the game kicked off, and probably high 20's at FT, the heat was savage.

Even walking out of the ground, all you wanted was a bottle of water (first!!), in those conditions, a draw was a decent result. We will go through.
