IF we have could it go towards replacing the pitch, or improving the dressing rooms?

Then again there is so much to be done the list is endless.

I'm probably way out of touch I thought the YDC was state of the art and as such had up to date changing facilities. Would I have seen the teams coming out onto the pich from there some time ago?

Yes, its the dressing rooms esp the away one under the main stand that seems to be the issue here, YDC for the home team have very large dressing rooms, their own mini pod stations, a gym, video room, food laid on in another room before / after training, even have their own parking spots.

Away teams see none of this.

I know the aim is to make it as uncomfortable as possible for away teams etc etc. However, is there not some way we could incorporate the old home dressing room into the away one and make it just one large dressing room? We could move refs room into ydc. Maybe health and safety dictates that there is an entrance from dressing rooms onto pitch and also one through the tunnel and out through the stand in case of a fire or other emergency? If not we should be able to make it one big dressing room. But equally I suppose to be fair, that is near the bottom of priorities with new pitch, new floodlights, improve the infrastructure all ahead of the away dressing rooms.

I see a 42 million project happening for Dalymount , Dublin County Council developing Richmond , & of course Hull City owners developing Tolka , all badly needed . On a positive front for the League both Ricmond & Tolka were full to capacity last Fri. as is Dalymount . Great atmosphere in all grounds & brilliant for the future of the League . Obviously down the road they will all be great venues & with bars & discos attached , the young folk are having a night out , without going in to town . Hopefully some positive vibes might come about Oriel & Drogheada , it has to be done , have the team winning Leagues & Trophies & you will get the support . A new stand that runs the length of the ground is required , with restaurants etc . There does not seem to be any news or a statement about the future plans for Oriel , not a dickie from local politicians.
Is there anybody connected to the club that is prepared to tell the good people of Co. Louth what are the future plans for Oriel Park .
