Lob a grenade , disappear for a while , come back in a while , stir more shit . Has done untold damage to the great Dundalk Fc . They cannot be genuine supporters. I wish all the best to Noel King , & also to Stevie O Donnell & Brian Gartland .
Lot of posters on here thought P6 were great fellas. Tells you all you need to know about who's behind some of the accounts

Ian Baraclough topping the shortlist despite being ruled out during the week by a journalist (won't name check at the risk of being accused of forcing a fictional agenda). Today's events just reaffirms the journos are as clueless as anyone on what's happening in Oriel.

It's not perfect but at least he has a cv and won't have fawning agents and journalists running rings around him

would much prefer cronin or a 3rd return of perth , but if not happening, doolin a step in the right direction
Give it a rest, Doolin would be 10x worse than King ffs. Perth was a disaster before and would be again. You're also constantly on about avoiding L plates, what the heck has Gary Cronin achieved aside from mid table 1st Div???

Who do you realistically should get the job then? Dont come with Stephan Kenny ... he didnt want it when offered it ... he asked for more time meaning DFC and its project was his plan, C, D,E or Z. Would you really want a manager at the club with one eye on his next job?

vp ruffled feathers (dropped/rotated underperformers who winged to journos) but if winning a league stint 1 and saving from relegation in stint 2 is disaster fine! 3rd stint not going to happen but would be very sensible

cronin was a great coach for bohs according to many players , has been a manager , and most recent role was in sod's current role. l plates is choosing a player ,to be a manager, like you're 10 years old , because we remember them as a player

buckly is not a terrible shout either . obviously not exciting but experience essential in a relegation battle

it's a tough decision

Rumour is BA is cotting his losses and walking! Anyone ready to tak up the slack? Giller will you take the job pro bono to get us over the hump? Philistine will you step in as CEO and fix the off field issues that have been neglected. Fans will we all step up to fill the void or have we had enough Coop. Trust ? Maybe we should go cap in hand to local businesses, Gerry Matthews, Fastfix/Connollys, Statsports, will we bite the han feeds us those that would rather see the club die than have any american involvement.

I think its obvious from the contenders left, that Barraclough is the only realistic outstanding choice, lets face it Kenny was never coming back.

Now whether IB will want to come is another thing, but at least he will be coming in with a free hand, can appoint his own people, and no one lurking around from the old days apart from Burns, almost a clean slate.

He's a football man, a LOI league title winner, but again, would he want it?

There's only one sentence in that piece about Baraclough though.
"Former Sligo Rovers boss Ian Baraclough is understood to be a leading contender to take the reins."

Vinny was also a player? Your argument/agenda is totally invalid

Cronin totally unproven. Would be v reckless to give him the job based on word of mouth given our predicament.

Agree that Buckley wouldn't be the worst at all but Paul Doolin? Give it a rest..
