Apparently, we just missed out on Ryan Graydon after Derry offered more wages at the last min

Think Galway were in the mix for Graydon as well, pacey winger. I may be wrong but I think there's better players available out there.

Mandroiu, Burns and now potentially Toal all gone from our league rivals.

Those rumours have been floating around for months. Has only played a handful of times since joining Plymouth in January. Be a good addition but seems it’s only loose talk hope I’m wrong though

Lewis is a tidy player, a bit lightweight, maybe why he struggled in League 1.
Junior Quitrina and Phoenix Patterson of Waterford would be good addiitions. Patterson could be linked to Rovers with Mandroiu off.

Pressbox podocast said negotiations ongoing with Dundee Utd, something about we may need to contribute more to his wages, but he's contracted to them until June 30 next year I think.
I don't see him going back to Scotland, but we need to keep him, he's vital to our chances of finishing as high as possible, and maybe a cup ?

Looks like Connolly is here until the end of the season because surely Dundee Utd have started pre-season already?? Odd that there's been no official line on this...

That's because they are still negotiating.Lilywhite29 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 4:17 pm Looks like Connolly is here until the end of the season because surely Dundee Utd have started pre-season already?? Odd that there's been no official line on this...
Dundee are paying Connolly €X. They are recharging Dundalk a lower amount. Dundee want Dundalk to cover more of the cost - or buy him outright. The alternative is that they recall him to Scotland. Of course Connolly doesn't want that. The other option is that Dundee and Connolly agree to a reduction.
Whatever happens is unlikely to become public knowledge.

Barry Cotter has moved to Pats on loan for the rest of the season. Strange move but Rovers clearly don't feel he's up to much. Very quiet transfer window in terms of incomings for teams. Still feel like we could do with backup for Hoban unless John Martin can start getting a run of games together through the middle. Still worried about our situation at centre back too but doesn't seem we're likely to add to the squad at all

Hopefully Martin gets over whatever injury he had as has looked decent in spells. If both himself and Mountney get back to fitness they'll be like new signings.

Ye i really thought he was a great signing given how well he played last year but doesn't seem to be getting his chance too often. 10 minutes here and there would be worried if he's still carrying an injury like its obviously something thats not that easy to fix if hes playing through it

I think Cotter is a good player. They could have moved on some of the golden oldies instead. Bradley brought in players like Gannon, Hoare, Towell to do enough in the League, but not good enough for European Football.TrevDaRev2 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 10:14 am Barry Cotter has moved to Pats on loan for the rest of the season. We tried to sign him but he chose Rovers instead. Wouldn't blame him with the shitshow that was going on here at the time.Richie87 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 11:08 pmI think Cotter is a good player. Bradly is looking after Bradley and going for short term goals. Rovers are an aging team that will need a massive rebuild in the next couple of years, I think he will jump ship before that and start looking for jobs in the UK.
