St Patrick's Athletic v Dundalk | League Round 9 | Fri 8 April 2022 ko 19.45 | RTE 2

Beware if you buy your LOITV game in advance. This game is live on RTE2 which normally means it is NOT available on stream.

I would like to think we can give a good account of ourselves and possibly even grab all 3 points. I would also hope that we will bring a decent number of supporters.

20m Adam Murphy (Forresters replacement) who was giving Sloggett a hard time, gone off with hamstring injury. We really should be taking control of midfield now. Pat's playing long balls into the channels and we are getting caught for pace.

Absolute tripe from Dundalk. Long ball is our only plan. Paul Doyle completely lost. He was bad against UCD but this is another level.

Game should be there for the taking. No Forester or Barrett and the starting midfielder gone off. Might help if could actually have an attempt on target

You have to be able to create something to have an attempt on target...

Another case of us looking like a team that could be playing until Sunday and still not scoring. Did we test their keeper all night?

Should count our blessings I suppose. Our goalkeeping problems are definitely sorted.

Just noticed Skip blanked Alan Mathews as he walked past him to shake hands with Tim Clancy. Obviously some history there.

Yea saw that. Refused to shake his hand, matthews looked shocked and words were exchanged.

On the positive side, we’ve played all teams we’d expect to be around us and gotten a result. We’ve got them all at home for the next round of fixtures plus Shels and drogs.

Dan McDonnell tweeting that it was a better game, then the scoreline suggest.. It was not, a poor game. The overall quality in the League hasn't been great so far. But it should improve.
