Same starting 11 as last week with the exception of Gartland for Connolly. Bench is interesting. Benson and Bradley return, Mountney drops out.

Desperate stuff from us. Game is bypassing Ward. Slogget seems to have forgotten how to tackle, every time he gets near a UCD player he fouls him.
Another ridiculous LOI refereeing decision of course, yellow card was sufficient.

Yellow card? He should have got jail. It was a horrendous and needless tackle to make.Martin Lawlor80 wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 8:40 pm Desperate stuff from us. Game is bypassing Ward. Slogget seems to have forgotten how to tackle, every time he gets near a UCD player he fouls him.

This is shocking. Sitting back inviting UCD players to run at us. Too many players believing the hype about being in 3rd position in the league. Conceding 2 against this UCD side is atrocious

Referee made the right call. Reckless tackle.

Disgraceful performance. 10 men or not you don't blow a 2 goal lead in that manner. And then to cap it all to bring a sub on in 92nd minute like wtf

We can have no complaints this evening. Ref got the 3 major calls right and basically, our lads played in first gear. Seem to be more than happy to go through the motions, keeper with an insecure performace, defence and midfield very poor in general which would not have helped them. A few need a good kick up the hole after them performances or better said, lack of.

league position still ok , no one will say it because he's a hero , but not sure I like existing players publishing autobiographies while playing ; surely unsettling ( no harm to him garts deserves the few quid ) even though careful to praise new gaffer etc
away form needs work , but a possible marker / motivation ... the reality check we needed , there will be set backs . building slowly

Poor performance from the start, just could not get into any rhythm. I said it before, but Kelly and Adams are just not delivering. Boyle's tackle was ridiculous. No need to go in that hard, it wasn't as if it was a last ditch tackle he had to make.
Blessed to be 2-0 up, but couldn't close out the game. Poor tonight.
