I don't understand why he doesn't promote a defender from the U19's even just to give them the experience of being around the squad.

Decent XI though, it'll all depend on how the midfield three of Lewis, Benson and Sloggett work. Big game for Ryan O'Kane against Finn.

At the game here. Plenty of good possession but it’s been a defensive shambles. We’re playing a suicidal high line with no pace in the back 4!

Don't deserve to be two down. We were the better team up to first goal. Was it bone or McCourt skinned for first goal? And clearly offside for that muppet towell's second..

McCourt had Zero pace for the first goal. Centre backs seemed to disappear for the 2nd. Ball into Towell did seem offside. Early goal needed now.

Whats the story with all the injuries? We are as bad as last year, feels like we have players going down in most games and us only playing once a week.
You would also have to question the squad make up .... Mountney on the bench but obviously not fit enough to come on? Macari is a center half with pace or isnt he? Who sent the young CB to Dungannon onloan knowing Boyle would be suspended? We will be luck to come out of this second half without further damage.

Done and dusted, very disappointed with that display, even with Boyle and Hoban out I thought we would've given it a right go. Luck simply not with us. Still an 8/10 season so far from our perspective, just a shame we couldn't force a title race.

Stevie and the team will learn from this. Focus on securing top 3 now.

Worst defending I have seen from a Dundalk team in a long time, as some one said why isn’t there a few u 19 defenders on the bench at least.

Our lack of depth in the squad costing us dearly, esp at the back. We'll we were all aware of this due to our budget. Pity we didn't convert some of our chances.

They might need to recall Mayowa as the definsive options very limited now.

We gave away 3 identical goals, one was bad enough but we kept making the same mistakes which was hard to take. We had a few chances but unfortunately McManus was on form.

I think playing the high line killed us. Should've kept it tight until half time and waited for them to tire. Learn from it and move on.
