Very few if any teams you'd think we might have a chance of beating. Should we get through, you have to hope for a freak result in the current round and to play a potentially weaker team. Maccabi Tel Aviv would probably be the draw that would have the most exposure domestically with the whole Robbie Keane angle. Would be surprised if RTE wouldn't want to televise that one

With the caveat that we have a lot of work to do to get past KA, it's a really tough draw, even the non-seed would be an enormous task. Nice trips though, Bruges in particular - I'll be on a family holiday in England :-(

Good clarity from UEFA on the new formats from 2024/25 onwards.

If Ireland ranked in the top 33 (2025/26 onwards) then the cup winners get 2 chances, Europa League & Conference league qualifiers. Cup will be far better than finishing 2nd/3rd.
