Hasnt really played 1st team but then again: neither did Macari ,, it's another body on the ground and can play full back

Macari was a bit younger, Williams is 23 in April. Joined Swansea last July, seems to be for their U23 team. Played at a low level before that

Suspect that part of it might involve Annesley and Williams switching between LCB and LWB mid-game if a back 3 happens as both are competent in those positions. Annesley even sent in the cross for the goal vs UCD.

Seems to be a better backbone to the squad now, like the age profile too, look to be decent quality and will hopefully fit into LOI quickly.

Tulloch is to end of June, Williams is too, but still good to get these guys in.

Brings the senior squad up to 24. 21 players fit with Mountney, Benson and McCourt injured currently.

Probably 23 more accurate as squad total, as Mountney will be out all season, Benson should be back in the squad this or next week, McCourt prob later in March but he seems even further down pecking order now with the defenders signed.

There is a complete unknown quantity to our signings with all coming from outside the league. So unusual that we sign 8 players and none have played LOI football and just shows a shift in how clubs are recruiting.

Impossible to predict how many if any will be a success but O'Donnell has a decent record of bringing in players from the UK both at Pats and here so I would be hopeful some will be of a good quality.
