Is it not a case that most of the new lads are on 1 year deals with an option of another year sitting on the clubs side?
I’ve heard that but genuinely don’t know who is 100% committed for next year. Was hoping someone else on here might

Wonder when the next “inside oriel” with a member of the owners group is penciled in for… I won’t hold my breath

A few like O Kane, Hoban, Horgan are contracted for 24. Maybe Galway will make a move for Hoban but would have to pay a fee. Not that it would be issue for the Comers .

I presume Brownlie signed for 18 months.

Can’t imagine you’d get a fee for a 32 year old club might just be happy to get his wages off the books. Which leaves Brownlie O’Kane and Horgan? Couldn’t just be those 3 tied down is it?

A proven goalscorer in the League you'd likely get something..Greg Slogget and Leahy are until the end of 24 also.

Could be a few others

We signed Archie Davies so I assume that was on a two year deal??

You’ll not see Davies Muller Sheppard Brownlie Malley Lewis Annesley here next year. And I wouldn’t say any of them besides Davies are a loss. Hopefully we don’t have to endure another year of Leahy. We need a rebuild from scratch and without loan or scrap English players. I’d rather see hungry Irish players that want to play for us over these lads from the UK who think they’re the bees knees

Think any manager with any sense is gonna praise current players and protect them. I doubt he means it. I expect a clear out in the off season and a squad that could be in the relegation mix next season with a load of young lads because under the deal struck with the PFAI deal struck last year they're the cheapest to employ https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2022/11 ... ge-agreed/

Louie looked the part pre-sepsis. I think he might get one more season to prove himself because he never really bounced back from that and maybe he'll look better if he can stay fit for an entire season.
