Some great thinking outside of the box with those options. Really hope the club are proactive in selling these sponsorships rather than waiting for businesses to reach out. Seems like a good bit of work going in to it so would be a shame to miss out on the rewardsoldfogey wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 5:38 pm Sponsorship packages are available for the upcoming season.

There is a thread specific to the Cup where I posed this question over the weekend

Could do with this in Oriel Park. Would go a long way towards solving the problems behind the Town goal.

Up collecting the season tickets yesterday and saw a number of signs saying children must be accompanied by an adult.oldfogey wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 7:41 am https://twitter.com/sligorovers/status/ ... ALuGw&s=19

The problems behind the goals are less of an issue than the fines coming from the shed I would have thought.

Re: 2023 Season General Thread
I hope I am wrong, but I am a little bit pessimistic coming into the season.
I am happy about the seeming quality that has come into the squad and excited about the profile of players brought in - but the panel is far too thin. We are starting the season with only two fit full-backs (it should be 4) and no depth at all out wide. While I have faith in O'Kane and Kelly (who if he gets a full season under O'Donnell I'm sure will be a revelation), its far too big of an ask for them to play and be as consistent as we need for 40+ games.
Whats disappointing is that this is that the problem is obvious. If Muller and Boyle get a strong partnership, and Malley turns into a fantastic attacking option, it wont matter if Darragh Leahy gets any kind of injury.
Maybe a bit negative, but expected a bit more from the transfer window. Four loan signings would be a dream at this stage....

Off season was poor enough, I expected much more, the only bright side being that the players aren't all on loan so if they come good (like Macari) we wont be left stuck at the end of the year. Think we'll be good for a win tonight though and hopefully get a few more in before the window shuts on the 22nd.

Re: 2023 Season General Thread
We have a solid 14, but that's about it, very little cover, so it will be a case of hoping for as little injuries as possible (and suspensions).
I`m a little worried about defence, central mainly, this time last year we had Connolly, and for almost 5 months, he was a rock. Now we have another rock (from Gibraltar) and a few others in defence who are quite young and not too experienced.
Not worried about MF, decent options, Doyle / Sloggett / Benson / Lewis + new arrivals, and we should be fine in attacking areas, as long as Dan Kelly gives us a good season and stays fit, same for Hoban, Cammy Elliott looks decent, and John Martin needs to step up big time, Ryan should be top class, so a good mix there.
Back to defence, these guys whoever is picked alongside Boyle and Leahy need to be 'at it' from day 1, we have some big big games coming up.
Qualifying for Europe by any method would be a great season, best of luck to the panel and mgt, lets go for it.
