Drogheda Utd v Dundalk | Malone Cup | Friday 03 February 2023 ko 19.45

Post by oldfogey »

No such thing as a pre-season friendly when it's against the Drogs. Hopefully we will get a decent crowd travelling up. It will be interesting to see who the starting eleven are and what formation skip opts for.

I would imagine that will down to Drogheda as it's their outlay/loss of gate receipts, which - realistically - is unlikely to be recovered through subscriptions.

That's it. Unless they can sell subs and advertisements to cover lost revenue I don't know why they would. I'm probably going to take a spin down to this but wouldn't bother if I could stream

Anyone manage to buy tickets for this? Apparently original purchases had no attachment. Future Ticketing were supposed to be resolving the problem but I've not seen anything.

Bought mine earlier in week and there was a barcode everything in order, but they have since reissued them to me

Strange.... for me the link to away tickets on the Drogs website doesn't work, but if I click through from the Dundalk tweet I can get there, and I just bought one no problem there now

I would imagine rotation give fringe players a game malley and Davies impressing so far.

Tight enough at the back with a couple a nifty passing moves but we seem to be a bit clueless going forward. Malley could potentially be a very good player at this level.
