Niall, I don't think it was Duff that went head to head with Byrne, my initial thought was it was Joey O'brien that stuck his head in but can't be 100% sure. Duff definitely started it all though.

The Shelbourne goal disallowed at the end looked onside, that wouldn't have went down well with Duff.

Re: Dundalk v Shelbourne March 6th 7.45
Some of their overseas players are heading down early because they have to play home games in Portugal while their national stadium is redeveloped, with no other pitches in Gibraltar being uefa standard. So the idea is to get more preparation time in and head to Faro a bit earlier to get used to the new stadium. I'm pretty sure Reece Styche from Stourbridge FC is already on his way down so thought maybe Louie was too.

There is a specified timeframe for which clubs are obliged to release players for international leave. This period is five days prior to the fixture for a qualifier. Their next Fixture is march 24th so we don't have to release annesley until the 19th. We play Drogheda on the 16th and then RVs on 31st so if fit he should be available for both fixturesinflikted wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:53 amSome of their overseas players are heading down early because they have to play home games in Portugal while their national stadium is redeveloped, with no other pitches in Gibraltar being uefa standard. Thought malley was brilliant again last nite and like pats game, alot of play ran through him. Be a big blow if that injury is serious.

Re: Dundalk v Shelbourne March 6th 7.45
Thought it was a massive win considering the players missing. Five changes from Friday night, showing the decent depth of the squad, something I was super worried about before the season. Sloggett having another massive game for us makes such a big difference, adds such a physical presence to the midfield. Shouldn't be underplayed too the different scorers we have had in the year. Eight already. Having so many lads able to score just makes such a difference to where we will be able to end up in the table. We also should be on top of extending all the loans....
The next three games are probably the hardest stretch we will have across the year (Derry (a), Drogs (a), and Rovers, (h)). It will be a real test of our quality. Possible not to pick up a point in each. Hopefully not though, if we get through this stretch with 7 points, well we would know it will be a serious season. Heres hoping.

Think we have Tulloch until the end of the season, well at least that's what it says on Transfermarkt. Didn't say the length of the loan on the club website. Williams and Yli-Kokko I think are 6 monthers.
We're a point better off than where we were this stage last season. Just need to put the weaker teams to the sword.

The West Brom site says Tulloch on loan until end of June https://www.wba.co.uk/news/rayhaan-tull ... ndalk-loan
Williams is a loan until June. But he's out of contract then so could join as a free agent. He was a bit ropey last night but grew into it

A bit ropey? He was an absolute bombscare everytime the ball was near him. He'd want to be a lot better than he showed last night to be worrying about signing him.Richie87 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 8:48 pm The West Brom site says Tulloch on loan until end of June https://www.wba.co.uk/news/rayhaan-tull ... ndalk-loan

His first full game. Look at how the others around him developed after 3 or 4 games. Give him time.punkha wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 9:05 pmA bit ropey? Williams was very iffy, mainly in the first half , and in the second half he came on a bit.. but I try to see it ,he's young , not a lot of senior experience- first start for us.
I remember Michael Hector was a calamity for us first few games in his loan but he grew into a good player for us and look how his career went.

I doubt any LoI club could afford the tf never mind the wages for Tulloch. We live in hope though.superman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 9:33 pmHis first full game. Yeah I'm aware it's his first full game. He was playing u23 football with Swansea which wouldn't be the same intensity, had been playing at a low level before Joon them last summer..superman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 9:33 pmHis first full game. Re: Dundalk v Shelbourne March 6th 7.45
I wanted Was off at halftime however a certain Sean Gannon was described as "Bambi on ice" in his first league game so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He definitely improved in the second.
