The recruitment has been shocking players not good enough. Sod has to put his hand up and say I got it wrong, I'm so disappointed with this team they don't even look fit.

Daniel Kelly was subbed at halftime due to recurrence of hamstring injury as per James Rogers twitter from post match comments of SoD

James Rogers reporting that Kellys hamstring went again first half and that is the reason for the change at half time. You would have to wonder if our medical department etc. are only in on match nights.

Unbelievable injuries but was the same players last year too and should be planned for. Budget must down on last year because there’s a real feelin of pay peanuts and get monkeys off the last few performances. Can’t help feelin that Derry at home and Shels away could be do or die. Anything less than 4 points from those two and we’ll be rightfully sitting in 7th or 8th with nearly a 3rd of matches played. Can’t see us gettin a result in either right now

Re: Cork v Dundalk 10/4/2023
Starting to have a few wee doubts on SOD, he seems far too relaxed in the middle of whats now is not far off a full blown crisis. That's 3 losses in a row, this is serious stuff we are in, and already I`m starting to look at clubs around us to beat to avoid being pulled into relegation play off spot, might sound knee jerk, but we were 3rd at 7.45 on Fri and now 3rd last !!!!!!!!
I`m planning to go to Europe in July god willing, and if I make it I`ll make damn sure I enjoy it as we won't be going to europe in 2024, already that's almost a done deal.
If there are questions on SOD's performace (and I really hope its a blip and he will turn things around), the other thing is his staff as I have absolutely no idea what Cregg brings to the table, never really hear his name mentioned and Pats fans had very little time for him.
One minor hope is we can play it in MF, and generally pass it well, but there is just no option going forward, we still look toothless, doesn't seem to much of a desire in the players eyes also, body lingo not great, lack of urgency all over the park, and its still too slow, no zip anywhere.
Where is the next win coming from you would wonder?

Shambolic goal conceded by Sligo for the Shelbourne second goal.

That's it. Pat's game was a freak result. They rocked up thinking the game was won that night before a ball was kicked and somehow we over performed.
We're shite.
Liam Carroll is a piece of shit. A fcuking leech.

That was a long journey back home, with not many positives to focus on other than it only being a 1:0 defeat and not an absolute hammering.
I'm dreading Derry next now, it's going to take something phenomenal to turn this around.
With the injuries, is it anything to do with the artificial surface in Oriel ?

It is depressing lads but I just wonder wether many of the signings were actually the managers choices? I am not in the town so don’t genuinely know the answer. Looking at the standard of the new players, you would think that they were all our budget could afford. If that’s the case I understand what’s happening and why we are crap. If they are Stephen’s signings, he needs to take responsibility but if they are the owners signings then they should be open with the fans and they may get some slack. Now don’t get me wrong but I like many of you have watched us over the years when we were crap so we understand things go in cycles but if we have to watch this current crap at least tell us there is a reason for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a budget constraint issue, they were advertising a lot of sponsorship packages (like the scoreboard one, logo with every goal) but I'm not sure how many were taken up, if these are not selling the budget might be constrained.Hull White wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 1:28 am It is depressing lads but I just wonder wether many of the signings were actually the managers choices?
