Cork City v Dundalk 09.06
Good chance for another 3 points.
Cork on a decent run of form, but given our performances against the better sides we really need to be getting 3 points regularly off UCD, Cork and Drogheda.
Annelsey back seems to be a big boost -and the great thing about him is that he is also playing to impress his national team coach.
Keep Muller and Malley on the bench please!

Terrible half again, Cork by far the better team.

Good 3 points in the end. Still some work to be done with that team.

Can’t watch away games these days…not good for the heart. From stats on LiveScore, we had much more possession. Were we good value for win in the 2nd half??dundalkfc1903 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:40 pm Good 3 points in the end. Still some work to be done with that team.

We deserved that, better team in the second half by a long way.

Great 3 points after the long journey to Cork , breaking their unbeaten run of 4 wins. We will take the 3 points & get on the bus & head for home. . Two week break now & well deserved . Well done Stevie & Squad . Cmon the Town .👍

Didn't watch but hoping Louie didn't let the OG get to him. He's a Gibraltar international, if there's one thing he's learned from that it's how to keep your head up after conceding.

Two decent results against two poor teams. Last year's team we would be in 2/3rd position at present. Apart from Shams this is a poor league this year.

First half was poor. Cork City probably should have been 2 up but Sheppard made a good save from Tunde Owalabi. A freakish goal from the corner turned things around. Dundalk controlled most of second half.
I don't see any of the Irish teams getting far in Europe bad Rovers. Dundalk will make hard work even in the first round.

I thought it was good entertaining game and a decent performance. First half even enough, second half we well deserved thr win. Even the Corkies on loitv had to admit we deserved it.

Last season is done with. We lost some excellent players. We are literally four points off second place. That's the aim. It's a poor league that rovers will win easing up so our aim has always been Europe for next season.
Dundalk Fc. First Irish club to win points in group stages of a major European Competition.

That's why I'm.saying it's a brutally bad league this year. To say 4 points of 2nd place with this team speaks for itself
