Annesley has a sweet left peg. Great strike. Good finish from Hoban too

Great win , scrappy game overall, but we pressed rovers for the full 90 and got the breaks.

Still a couple of passengers in our team,Muller and Malley were poor yet again.

Dickie my man of the match.

Special nod again to the ref who managed to book 5 Dundalk players but let towel off with 6 fouls and lopes with two late ones.

Best game Malley played for us. He was the pick of the midfielders on the pitch, moved the ball well, and was composed the whole game.

What a performance and result. Real bodies on the line stuff there, great effort. We're limited but effort costs nothing and we had plenty of it tonight.

I've been critical of Malley and Kelly recently but they were both excellent tonight a real hunger.

The shed was rocking as well with proper fans, those idiots can take their weed and flares and stay away, won't be missed.

Super performance and great result.

Kelly worked his socks off, never stopped, Malley was very good - met his dad in the Enda at HT, he was enjoying the game.

What a goal from Louie, and Pat he is now only 1 behind the League top scorer this season, with Drapper gone he might have a decent chance of getting finishing top scorer if he keep going.

Not sure whats going on re budget constraints, but christ guys, get a deal in front of Shep, no brainer.

Best performance of season. Got at them from the start, didn't give rhem time on the ball and Kelly, hoban and malley all pushed up on their defence giving them little time. Thought koko was poor, kept giving the ball away.didn't know where he was playing and left a huge gap on rightbut Davies was well fit to cover. Ref was shocking. Gave them everything. How whinge bag towell wasn't booked for persistent fouling is beyond me. Yet 6 of ours booked almost at first foul.

Didn't see that result coming but what a win. Management & team got everything spot on last night. I have been critical this season but fair play, well done all.

In a separate issue we have a great chance of going a few rounds in Europe yet the vibes coming from the club we won't be taking on any new bodies, I find this baffling. If owners don't want to invest they really should be moving on & give the reigns to some ambitious people.

Congrats to Sevie O ‘ Donnell & all the squad , one & all. Great for the league to stop Rovers in their gallop .
It says an awful lot for Stevie & what he is doing . It will give the players huge confidence going forward .
Rovers were made look very ordinary & that is because Dundalk had complete control . I have to say all Sat. morning newspapers are lauding praise on Stevie & Dundalk Fc . Onwards & upwards . It just might influence potential investors to invest in a club , that has been consistently at the top & playing in Europe over the years. The time is right for an investor to take over , invest in players & Stadium . Well done again Stevie , you have done an incredible job in your first year.
You have had an incredible influence with Dundalk Fc as a player & now as manager .You have shown that you are undoubtedly a leader , with not a negative bone in your body . Hopefully u get the backing to progress in all areas , both team & stadium . Cmon The Town . 👍👍
