Thought it was an even enough game in the first half although maybe we were a little fortunate to be ahead at half time. The second half was a shit show. Everything we did well against Rovers we stopped doing. I'm not sure if it was fatigue or the game plan or what but sitting back and letting Bohs come at us was only going to end one way.

There was times one player would press on their own look around at the lack of support and get frustrated and Bohs had an easy passage out of their defense.

All of the goals looked fairly avoidable too, the third one especially. Give the ball away at the edge of their box with a ridiculous flick pass and let them run the length of the pitch and score.

Very frustrating night and with other results around us it feels like a pretty defining night in our hunt for Europe.

Not sure why yous are saying Muller and Malley were poor tonight. Muller put a great shift in and was solid at the back. Let’s not forget he cleared a goal off the line. Malley is a good technical player and is one of Dundalk’s best. Need to sign a striker. Nobody gets on the end product when the ball is given to them. Final third again absolutely abysmal.

We need somebody with the pace and physical presence of Afolabi up top.

And yet you watched that game and decided that Malley And Muller were the worst two players…I don’t think I’ll take much notice of your input.

Muller was part of a defence that conceded 3 soft goals and was directly at fault for the 3rd. A child playing men's football and if he plays in Europe we are heading out very early

Hobans stats speak for themselves and require no further proof from anyone.
What hoban needs is a supply of chances, and outside of deep crosses from Davies he gets very little from midfield

I wouldn’t say a 21 year old is a child….. Also Muller wasn’t part of the defence when Dundalk lost earlier in the season 4-0 to Shamrock Rovers. Muller has been involved in every clean sheet Dundalk have had !!!!

Will be a different team with Brownlie & Boyle at centre half . It was a peno for Dundalk at the end , plus Sullivan who scored should have got a red card earlier .
Ref was light weight in front of the Jodi.

Criminal to lose that game last night after being a goal up. But, in fairness, it always felt like Bohs would get, at least an equaliser. They had us pinned in for most of the 2nd half. Felt like we were never in command of the game at any stage. Looked like an absolute nailed on penalty at the end, but did the ref give offside instead? Would need to see it again but there was no replay of it on the highlights this morning.

On a side note, it was my first time in the Mono stand last night. Credit where its due, it's a lovely wee stand. Why we can't put something similar at the Town end of Oriel is beyond me!!

One of those each end of the ground and the place would look very well.

You take out of it what u want. Should we only have one striker? Who is saying anything about hoban not playing? I said we need a striker with power and pace like Afolabi so u disagree?

Alfie lewis was directly at fault for the third. Horrendous pass outside the bohs box and then had an opportunity to foul at the halfway like and didn't even try a tackle and four seconds later boom. It's a goal. But hey u blame muller .

Afolabi was a free agent last July. Dundalk could have moved but didn't. He's a handful, a bit like Georgie Kelly

I remember Afolabi was big talent underage for Ireland..
