For anyone unsure, Gibraltar local time is 1 hour ahead of Ireland, so be sitting in front of your mobile/laptop/tv, or have your pint ordered well before 5pm. Lilywhite Lounge will be open from 4pm.
I see a few tweets still enquiring about a stream for the game.
Away leg: Streaming by Solidsports €10. https://magpiestv.com/mtv/watch/magpies-vs-fc-dundalk
Home Leg: Streaming by LOITV, again €10. This is NOT part of the the Season Pass. https://www.loitv.ie/en-int/livestream/ ... ar/1625695.
For the anoraks and memorabilia collectors out there, this is the last season the competition will be known as the UEFA Europa Conference League, as they are dropping the word "Europa" for Season 2024-25.
As for the game, I see 3 big discussion points:
- Injury list
- Conditions for the game. Forecast 31C at kickoff. https://www.bbc.com/weather/2411585
- Opting for damage limitation.
Some players who can normally run for 120 minutes, or are among the fastest in the squad, don't cope well with high temperatures (as a one off).

Would take an away draw, heat will definitely be a factor.

Gibraltar sides have an excellent home record, it's going to be a tough game. We need to manage it well, conserve energy, use subs well.
Gib champions Lincoln only lost 2-1 home to Qarabag last night, Magpies beat Crusaders at home last time out and Europa knocked out Larne last season. We should win this tie but its far from a walkover

We will have a better overall picture after the Conference games, but last night's performance in Tallaght appeared to confirm what a lot of people of have been saying. The standard of our league has definitely gone backwards.
I am very concerned that the conditions will more than tip the balance in favour of the home side. We don't want to be chasing the tie next week, but it could well come down to that.

Comprehensive information pack from Gavin as usual. Having suffered in Orlando in '94, the question of hydration cannot be overstated.

Stephen O'Donnell Press Conference earlier today
Niall Newbury reports that Keith Ward is out for the foreseeable future. John Martin is also doubtful for tomorrow.

I know things are not good between a certain journalist and the club, but why - on the day of the game - would you post an article on how to beat Dundalk?
Or maybe the headline referring to the Bohs win last Friday is just clickbait to get people to pay to read the article. I don't expect rose tinted glasses but.......
