There were positives from last night, Sam Durrant looks like he could be a very good player at this level although I hope he's more consistent than Tulloch was near the end. We're also starting to see Daryl linking up with the other players in the front three, we're looking more dangerous, just need to start taking our chances. Hayden Muller played very well on the left.
It seems like they have gone all out with the signing of Daryl Horgan to get Europe. Bohemians didn't make Europe last year but done well from player sales. Dawson Devoy and Promise both went for 100k with add ons. Which would be the equivalent of European money.
Sligo made good money from Keena, .

Dundalk's best asset Shepperd is a free agent in a few month's.

Boyles extended parental leave is bizarre. As Roy Keane once said , he didn't have the baby
Totally disagree with U there. We played some of our best football last night and deserved at minimum a draw. With the money RVs have and the fact they are current champions going for four in a row, they are well entitled to dominate, which I don't think they did in the slightest. I do agree re midfield. Malley gets a lot of grief but I think currently he is our better option. Really like sloggett but am starting to think if we want to challenge we need better options. I think we now have nothing to lose. We potentially need to win every game from now on, so just go for it. I'd be starting Durrant, Horgan, Hoban Martin and Kelly as our front line. With Muller and Davies Brownlie and boyle as the defence. And Malley.

Extended parental leave could be for a variety of reasons including health of the baby, mother, or both (or neither). Without knowing the reason I'd say it's not really something to comment on.

As posted pre Rovers, this IMO is currently our strongest starting XI, in bold were on the bench, at times we don't help ourselves.
