Isn’t wise is being kind. Beyond silly at this stage of the season. I agree with ya about Leahy but only in a back 5 not 4. Owners must be scratching their heads at some of the decisions it’s as if Bill Hulsizer still has a phone in the dugout

O Donnell had success at Pats but Alan Matthews would have had a big role in that. Dave Mackey was involved last year and not involved this season.

Maybe he needs an experienced figure

A manager has to go his own path he might get advice but ultimately he makes the calls or he loses the respect of the backroom staff and more importantly the players.

Yeah but when the results aren't going the way another voice can help the calm the situation.O Donnell and Cregg are firey characters, losing the plot the whole time is no good for the players on the field.

He's neither a 6 or a 10. Doesn't have tackling ability to be a 6 and doesn't have the passing ability to be a 10. But he probably would be better as a 10 because when he gives the ball away at least we would be further up the pitch. I don't like criticising players but he shouldn't be playing, unfortunately not up to it, some nice touches but no end product.

Leahy at CB and Muller at LB makes complete sense. Leahy is a better CB as he is good in the air, he has no pace so you can't put him as a LB against McMullen that would be suicide. Muller is not a CB as has been proven over the season but has attributes suited to full back

I don't think he does a lot for us
Agreed WW. Is he injured as not on bench but in attendance.
A very strong starting 11. Also no John Martin in the squad. Is he carrying a knock.
Seems Louie is injured, not in the National team squad even though he's one of the first names on the sheet normally (his name does start with A after all).

Trying not to be that guy but couldn't let that go unchecked. Malley has the highest passing success rate in the squad this season with 82% so not sure what you're watching. He's second to only Davies in terms of chances created too. Leahy looked at sea in cb of a back 4 in my opinion, and Muller isn't of much use no matter where he plays. Derry targeted that side for good reason

I’d have to agree with you with Malley. I think he’s been a scapegoat for a lot of the season taking a lot of unfair blame. I think he’s a good player although he’s style may seem casual to some. Regarding Muller I actually think he’s been playing decent the last few weeks. I had a look at hes stats and was surprised at how decent they actually were. Leahy is definitely not a centre back, he’s better at left back.

Malley has been made to be the scapegoat this season. There's always one. But last Friday he was shocking for two of the goals. Infact he was at fault twice for the first goal.

He was poor, but why no mention of Brownlie also. He was the only player in defence taken off. Really poor defending for the first 2 goals.

There’s about 4 or 5 players should’ve done better for the first goal he at least swings at it and Patching just get lucky when it bounces off him and lands at his feet. Brownlie tied in knots for the second Malley doesn’t cover himself in glory but there’s 5 other players involved from his misplaced pass. As I said initially I don’t think he’s a 6 because he just hasn’t got the defensive side to his game so dunno why Stevie keeps playing him there

I watched the game where he gave the ball away twice and Derry scored twice, that's the stat that matters.

If you think Leahy looked at sea at CB you would have had a seizure watching him up against McMullen's pace.

I don't want to be getting down on him it's not fair. He shouldn't be in the team now if Slogget, Doyle, Horgan, Lewis and Benson are fit. A bit of a break might do him good. He's played a lot of football. Might need the weight taken off him for a bit.
